Emergency Declared As Massive Floods Inundate North Carolina

 Massive storms have wreaked havoc across North Carolina causing power outages and flash floods that swamped homes and washed out roads and bridges.

 A state of emergency has been declared by authorities in Catawba County, the City of Newton, and the City of Hickory.
