Thursday, June 28, 2012 - City of Chula Vista staff approved a demolition permit for the removal of the South Bay Power Plant above ground structures on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
The permit approval paves the way for the plant to be demolished, and follows the June 15 California Coastal Commission approval to dismantle the above ground structures.
