Gulf Air sponsored the First National Occupational Safety & Health Conference, which was held on 22 – 24 May, 2012 at the Gulf Hotel. The theme of the Conference was “Creating safety Culture for Decent & Safe Work.”The Conference, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Labor and held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister H.H. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, highlighted the necessity of enhancing the standards of occupational safety and health performance on a national level.
