Airline fares in India soar high as jet fuel price rises for the fourth consecutive month

 The jet fuel price rises for the fourth consecutive month. Eventually, the commercial airlines are forced to increase the fares.

Jet fuel prices were hiked by 6.9 per cent to Rs 75,031 ($1139.59)    per kilolitre (1,000 litres) with effect from September 1.
