In terms of travel and tourism competitiveness, France showed dismal performance as it slipped four places from third in 2011 to seventh, reveals 2013 Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI). Also, Sweden is the only other country in the top 10 to fall, dropped from fifth to ninth position.
