The two-in-one Golflink ticket includes return rail travel between Edinburgh and Drem - the nearest station to Muirfield - as well as Stagecoach bus transport to and from the course.Tickets can be booked online, for the first time, by entering ‘Golflink 2013’ as the destination. Bookings can also be made by telephone or at staffed stations.
A ScotRail spokeswoman said it would be offering “extra services, extra stops and extra seats” and had this advice for golf fans:
