The tourism industry is concerned that proposals to tighten 457 visa regulations will make it more difficult to source badly needed staff, according to peak national industry body Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF).
TTF Chief Executive Ken Morrison said many tourism businesses struggle to find skilled staff and urged the parliament not to impose new rules which would stymie growth in the visitor economy.
