Maltese Culture featured at Berlin child park

 Extensive information on Malta’s history, culture, economy and political institutions was featured prominently at a Europe Festival held at Berlin’s FEZ, a landmark children’s park in Berlin.

In colloboration with the Embassy of Malta in Berlin and the Malta Tourism Authority, this event was organised by the civil society organisation Bürger Europas.

This year the Festival focused on Malta, Spain and the Netherlands.

Visitors to the stand competed in a ‘Malta Quiz’ while children played with the large Playmobil fortune wheel. Information on the ‘Adopt a Turtle’ campaign was distributed to visitors, demonstrating how injured sea turtles are being treated in a special centre in Malta before being released back into their natural habitats.
