Hong Kong Airlines today presented the funds raised through the in-flight charity program “Fly & Care” to Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (hereinafter referred as HKPC&SAPD), to support athletes for training programs and competitions, promotions of sports for the disabled as well as preparations for the 2016 Paralympic Games.The “Fly & Care” fund-raising program, which collects donation from passengers of all flights of Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways, has been gaining the support from worldwide passengers since its inauguration in last August. The first stage of donation, HK$ 125,000 has been presented to HKPC&SAPD to support the development of disabled athletes in Hong Kong.
