Following last year's successful workshops to introduce operators to the Tourism Info Monitor (TIM), Tourism Tasmania's staff will be on the road again this winter to take you Behind the Stats.As well as sharing more insights from TIM – exploring the views and behaviour of Australians intending to travel - the free workshops will be a great opportunity for operators to find out what they can learn from the extensive data available through the Tasmanian Visitor Survey about the hundreds of thousands of people who visit the state each year.
The main purpose of the workshops – being held around the state during June and July – is to help operators not only find the research they need to understand their customers, but how it can be used to make valuable marketing and business decisions.
