Edinburgh Airport has welcomed a new Turkish Airlines daily service to Istanbul, opening Scotland up to 223 worldwide destinations.Since making its inaugural flight from Edinburgh Airport last July the airline has seen great success and is hugely popular among passengers. Turkish Airlines will now increase its service from four per week to every day.
Speaking at a reception at Edinburgh Airport on Monday, Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive, said: “We’re delighted that Turkish Airlines have increased their flight schedule in such a short space of time. The decision to go daily highlights just how popular this service is.
