The ultra-large Lineage 1000 executive aircraft achieved steep-approach certification of 5.5 degrees from ANAC - Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil and the EASA – European Aviation Safety Agency, Embraer Executive Jets announced today.“This is yet another milestone in the development of the industry’s most versatile, ultra-large jet,” said Ernest Edwards, President, Embraer Executive Jets. “With the steep-approach certification, the Lineage 1000 will be able to access airports in many parts of the world where steeper approach angles are required owing to noise or terrain restrictions.
