HKIA sets monthly Cargo Record in November

 Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) recorded increases in all three traffic categories in November 2012, including a monthly record high for cargo traffic. During the month, cargo throughput saw strong growth of 9.3% over the same period last year to 374,000 tonnes to beat the previous record set in October 2010. Passenger traffic and flight movements also saw year-on-year growth of 5.5% and 6.6% respectively, with 4.6 million passengers and 29,710 flight movements handled.
