Canadian hotel industry's occupancy rose 2.2 percent to 57.8 percent

Tuesday, December 18, 2012 - The Canadian hotel industry experienced positive results in the three key performance metrics during the week of 2-8 December 2012, according to data from STR. In year-over-year comparisons, occupancy rose 2.2 percent to 57.8 percent, average daily rate was up 2.8 percent to CAD$124.58 and revenue per available room increased 5.1 percent to CAD$72.03.
