IRU: Boosting EU growth requires investments in the real economy, SMEs and road transport

Travel Association NewsIn the framework of Spring European Council and further to the major IRU Conferences held on Wednesday in Brussels that brought together 400 delegates from 36 countries, including Danish Transport Minister, Henrik Dam Kristensen, Head of Cabinet, Henrik Hololei as representative of the Vice President of the European Commission responsible for transport, Siim Kallas, and DG MOVE Director General, Matthias Ruete, debates unanimously concluded that boosting growth in Europe requires decision makers to invest in the real economy, SMEs and road transport, which account for 85% of employment in the EU.
