LAN conducts first flight operated with a modern satellite navigation system in Latin America


The emblematic Cusco-Lima route was chosen to perform, for the first time in Latin America, a flight that used from takeoff to landing a satellite navigation system called RNP (Required Navigation Performance). This is undoubtedly a milestone in commercial aviation in the region that was made possible thanks to The Green Skies of Peru project, driven by LAN, GE Aviation, DGAC of Peru and CORPAC.
