On the suggestion of Philippe Close, the Alderman responsible for tourism in the City of Brussels and President of VISITBRUSSELS, new “you are here” maps of the city have just been introduced to 11 districts. Other areas should follow, thanks to the support of the Alderman responsible for public roads, Ahmed El Ktibi. New district maps have just been put up in 11 of the city’s districts on display boards owned by the City of Brussels. These “you are here” maps will help everybody in the city find their way around. The old maps, now obsolete, have been replaced with the new ones, in the VISITBRUSSELS colours. They have been produced by mapmakers “Perspective” in collaboration with designer Cyril Elophe.
